Clever question – I am not going to tell you! See what a tease I am. I can tell you that I completely changed the ending. I was going to have something entirely different. I woke up one night and a voice said. “No, stupid, don’t do that…do this!” I can tell you my husband, who read the book last week, was taken entirely by surprise.

 Perhaps there is an Italian publisher out there who would be interested in buying Shadows of the Past. Years ago I did sell one of my con temporary romances to an Italian publishing house. It came out in a small magazine kind of book. I think they are still available. I saw some on a newspaper stand in Tuscany . It was so funny because the money offered was in lire, and I thought I had hit the jackpot, ha ha. Thank you for your good wishes.

Bella domanda – ma non ti dirò! Da tormentatrice che sono, ti dirò solo che ho cambiato la fine all'ultimo momento. La storia sarebbe dovuta finire in un altro modo. Ma, una notte mi sono svegliata con questa vocina nella testa che mi diceva “No, tonta, non farlo così......ma così!” Posso dirvi che, il mio marito, che ha letto il libro proprio la settimana scorsa, è rimasto completamente colto di sorpresa.

Forse ci sarà qualche casa editrice italiana interessata a comprare “Shadows of the Past”. Anni fa, ho venduto uno dei miei romanzi contemporanei ad una casa editrice italiana. Era di un piccolo formato, cartaceo, che penso vendano ancora, perché una cosa simile vidi non tanto tempo fa in una edicola in Toscana. E' stato divertente, perché , a quei tempi, i prezzi erano espressi ancora in Lire, ed io pensai di aver fatto la tombola, haha!
