I think you are very right when you talk about it being more important that there is an emotional connection between the two people, either through the eyes, mouth, and I would add their hands and bodies.

That's more important than how little clothing they are wearing.

Maet, your comments are very astute. It is interesting that you don't like the Fabio type of male. I used to work with him a long time ago. I confess I never understood the Fabio phenomenon. Your thoughts about covers being sexy and classy are very well put. I love those artists you mentioned, especially Klimpt.

You just reminded me somehow, of a movie I think is the perfect book cover in cinematic form, The Horseman On The Roof. Another was the Zorro film with Catheryn Zeta Jones & Antonio Banderas.
