about your question, James, on what women like to see in a cover:
As far as I am concerned, you guessed right. My attention is grabbed not by erotic scenes, I don't mind if the characters do or don't have their dresses on ( evem if personally I prefer ), but by the way the hero is hugging his woman, the feeling of tenderness, care and protectiveness he has to trasmit.
Sometimes I don't even look at their faces, I am one of those people who prefer not to see tht much of them, it's enough for me a profile or a detail while the faces are totally in the shadows... it's more beguiling and allos me to imagine them as I think best.
On the other side I think the details of a dress, of the drapery or the scenario surrounding them are very interesting, since they are necessary to define the historical setting. This is the reason I appreciate your work, because you are checking carefully that alle elements surrounding the characters reflect the novel's historical setting.
Getting back to the exhibition subject - I don't know, Veronica. Is that impossible to organize anything here in Italy? ;)
James, are you willing to do that without asking high fees? At least a one-day exhibition! :)
