Dear Gloria, Thanks for you wonderful comment! I sympathize with your artist brother. It is a tough way to make a living. Illustration pays better in some ways, but there is a lot of competition. In the gallery world, you can be discovered and suddenly become wealthy, but that is very rare. Most artists don't get discovered that way. The college I went to had a good mantra: Be true to your work and it will be true to you. I think that has to be the attitude of the artist. Best of luck to you and your brother!
