Yes, Mondadori bought all 4 books. So they will all appear, once translated! I'm sorry you didn't like Imogen as much as the others -- I was really thinking about how people don't necessarily act perfectly when they are grieving. We can be very unpleasant when we are sad! I ended up liking her very much -- though I actually adore all four.

grazie per le domande. No, non avevo deciso come sarebbero state le coppie. Infatti, i personaggi delle sorelle sono cambiati in base ai commenti del pubblico. Mi dispiace che tu abbia difficoltà a reperire i romanzi scritti in serie.

As I wrote each of the sisters' stories, I loved her dearly. Then I would turn to the next sister and she would become my favorite for that book. So each was my favorite, while I was writing her book.

And, of course, sometimes it is very difficult to be a professor and a writer. I have a lot of friends who are bestselling authors, and none of them maintain another career. But, for me, the movement back and forth between literature and my own books is so important -- I take my ideas from teaching Shakespeare, very frequently. I would be afraid that if I were "just" a writer, I would start to write the same book over and over.

It was such a pleasure to chat with all of you -- if anyone has any follow-up or new questions, I will definitely check in tomorrow as well!
