What a great surprise! Mary Balogh is one of my favourite romance author. What I appreciate the most in your novels, beside the

imperfection of your characters (but I must underline that in THE FIRST SNOWDROP the heroine initially overweight, looses pounds when she founds love and a happy life, is it a casual choice or a way to oblige to social conventions that want all of us to be thin?) is the fact that you write stories not banal, believable, not too sweet-voiced but with protagonists who must face real and felt problems. I generally cannot stand series of more than three books, but in your case I adore the Slightly series, that has six of them, and also the Simply spin-off series. My favourite among all of your books is SLIGHTLY MARRIED one of the most beautiful srories I have ever read. Thank you so much for writing it!

Oh my, I am so thrilled, I consider Mrs Balogh to be the best in romance, someone incomparable, so for me this interview and this "virtual" meeting is extremely welcome.

I must thank Balogh for having introduced me to romance with SLIGHTLY DANGEROUS. You will say: how lucky, among so many authors you couldn't choose any better. It was real luck to be honest, I was looking for book in a UBS and found it, it was so praised that I bought it and then the whole series, it was well worth it.

I agree, THE TRYSTING PLACE is one of your worst books, please forgive me Mrs Balogh but it was disappointing.

It is wonderful to know how every author begins their stories. It must be so tiring for you to take each time two characters and reach them right at the centre of their pain, intriguing but really heavy to bear for you.

I am looking forward to read the Huxtable series, I am already conquered by Con! ;):D

Congratulation for you new covers, they are really elegant, so much better than the old cheap ones used for romance books, that way romance will never be considered real literature.

What about your children? I am sure they are very proud of you and of your success, but is there an anedocte about them praising you in public that you would share with us?
