Hi, naan! My Midnight books move forward in time. The order is Catching Midnight, Hunting Midnight (both Medieval), Courting Midnight (Regency), and then starting in June I'll have a tightly connected trilogy set in the 1930s (Kissing Midnight, Breaking Midnight, Saving Midnight). I suspect it's most enjoyable to read them in order, but only the 1930s trilogy has actual cliffhangers.

For research, I usually read a lot and use a little. Sometimes I watch movies or--if I get a chance--travel in person to one of my settings.
