Hi Tiziana,

Well, I'm English, and Standish is based in England, so all my pre-conceptions come from England too.

There is quite a lot of gay romance in the USA and England, but not so much in print.

I've done a list of gay HISTORICAL romance on www.erastes.com/fiction.htm and you'll see there about 150 titles there, as opposed to the infinite catalogue of Heterosexual Historical Romance that is available.

You will find that the Ebook market is more flexible to gay romance than print - even now - annoyingly.

I don't like the word "formula" because (personally) I don't WANT to know how the story will end.

I HOPE and i PRAY that the story will end happily, but I don't want, even before I open the first page, that that's how it will end.
