RITA Award winner Deanna Raybourn returns with a new Gothic romance set in the Victorian era, this time following the tendencies and offering another interesting approach to the vampire romance genre. Even though the time period and the country are quite accurately described, the author could have chosen the names of the protagonists and the places using a bit more of her imagination – Dragulescu?

Deanna Raybourn , vincitrice del premio RITA, ritorna con un romanzo gotico ambientato in era vittoriana, seguendo anche lei le tendenze in voga e offrendoci un altro interessante approccio sul tema dei vampiri. Anche se abbastanza curato nei dettagli storici così come nelle descrizioni dei luoghi, l'autrice forse avrebbe potuto usare un po' più di fantasia nella scelta dei nomi dei personaggi e dei luoghi – Dragulescu?
