Shapeshifter Rinna hides in the United States from devious Falcone, the leader of her alternate world. However, her enemy has set traps to capture her as he hunts her with plans to kill her. In one of the traps, Rinna finds werewolf Logan Marshall caught. Using her magical skills, she frees him. Logan is stunned because no female has ever been a werewolf as far as he knows yet his rescuer is a beautiful woman. Even more shocking to Logan is that this Rinna is his mate. When they journey to her world, he knows he must keep his beloved safe from an evil that hunts her and by association him. The sixth Moon werewolf romance lives up to its adverb title of New as dimensional and time travel add a touch of science fiction to the mix enabling the introduction of a female shapeshifter into the York universe. Rinna and Logan are a fabulous pairing and his clan (stars of previous books) in limited support roles adds depth to understanding the hero. In some ways the brilliant diabolical Falcone steals the show as he comprehends that in order to keep or expand power much is show (think of the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain). Fans of werewolf romantic suspense especially Rebecca York’s bewitching series will appreciate the spin that NEW MOON takes. (Harriet Klausner)

La mutante Rinna si nasconde negli Stati Uniti per fuggire dall'equivoco Falcone, il capo del suo mondo alternativo. Tuttavia, il suo nemico ha messo delle trappole per catturarla mentre la caccia meditando di uccidera. In una delle trappole, Rinna trova il mutante uomo-lupo Logan Marshall. Usando i suoi poteri magici, lo libera. Logan è meravigliato perchè nessuna donna è mai stata un mutante donna-lupo da quello che sa tuttavia la sua salvatrice è una bella donna. Ancora più scioccante per Logan è che questa Rinna sia la sua compagna. Mentre viaggiano nel suo mondo, lui sa che deve tenere la sua amata al sicuro da un malvagio che la caccia e per associazione anche lui. Il sesto romance su mutanti uomo-lupo della serie Moon rende giustizia al suo titolo New come un viaggio dimensionale e nel tempo  con un tocco di science fiction per rendere plausibile l'introduzione di una donna mutante nell'universo della York. Rinna e Logan sono una coppia favolosa e il suo branco (protagonisti del libro precedente) in ruoli di contorno aggiunge profondità alla comprensione dell'eroe. In un certo senso il brillantemente diabolico Falcone ruba la scena mentre capisce che per tenere o aumentare il potere molto è dato dallo spettacolo (pensate al Mago di Oz dietro le tende). I fans del suspence mutante uomo-lupo romantico, e specialmente dell'ammaliante serie di Rebecca York, apprezzeranno la svolta che prende NEW MOON. (Harriet Klausner)
