Bella Andre è sempre stata una scrittrice. 1-Welcome Bella and thank you for accepting our invitation.It is a great pleasure having you as our guest . Would you like to begin this interview by telling something more to our readers about yourself ?

Hello! It is so nice to be here. I have written more than twenty sexy contemporary romance novels and right now I am very excited about my Sullivan series, about 6 sexy brothers and their two twin sisters, all of whom will find true love.

The Sullivans are a family based in San Francisco. The eight children lost their father when they were young but were brought up by their mother and the eldest brother (Marcus – from book #2 From This Moment On.) I had decided to write eight books in the series – one for each sibling – but I’ve also been toying with the idea of adding several more about other Sullivan relatives. So far I have written and released the first four Sullivan books in English (#1 is THE LOOK OF LOVE, #2 is FROM THIS MOMENT ON, #3 is CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE, #4 is I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU). #5, IF YOU WERE MINE, will be released early this summer.
 

1-Benvenuta Bella e grazie per aver accettato il nostro invito. E' un piacere averti nostra ospite.Hai voglia di cominciare raccontandoci qualcosa di te che ti faccia conoscere alle nostre lettrici?

Ciao! che bello essere qui! Ho scritto più venti sexy  romance contemporanei e proprio adesso sono molto emozionata per la mia serie dei Sullivan che racconta di sei fratelli sexy e le loro due sorelle gemelle, ciascuno dei quali troverà il vero amore. I Sullivan sono una famiglia che vive a San Francisco. I sei bambini hanno perso il loro padre quando erano molto giovani e vennero portati qui dalla madre e dal fratello maggiore ( Marcus, protagonista del secondo libro From the Moment on - inedito in Italia), Ho deciso di scrivere otto libri per questa serie, uno per ciascun fratello, ma sto anche accarezzando l'idea di aggiungere qualche parente. Finora ho scritto e pubblicato i primi cinque libri :#1 is THE LOOK OF LOVE, #2 is FROM THIS MOMENT ON, #3 is CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE, #4 is I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU). #5, IF YOU WERE MINE. Il resto arriverà agli inizi dell'estate.

2-Some of your main female characters in your books are resourceful woman who have found their place in the business world. Who inspires you to create such personalities - femminine and indipendent at the same time?

I love to write about strong heroes, and I can't imagine pairing up a strong man with anyone but a strong woman! I am and artist and writer, but I have always been a businessperson, too. My University degree from Stanford is in Economics. I think it's so much fun to write characters who are both feminine and strong, soft and womanly, yet who understand who they really are--and what they really want and need out of the men they love.

2-Alcune protagoniste dei tuoi romanzi sono donne intraprendenti che hanno trovato la  loro strada nel mondo del lavoro. Da chi trai ispirazione per costruire questi personaggi così femminili ma al tempo stesso indipendenti?

Mi piace scrivere di eroi forti, e non posso fare altro che accostare ad un uomo forte una donna altrettanto forte! Io sono un artista e una scrittrice, ma sono anche stata una donna di affari. Sono laureata in economia e penso che sia divertente scrivere di personaggi femminili che siano donne forti e femminili al contempo, dolci ma che capiscono chi sono realmente e cosa davvero vogliano e necessitino dall'uomo che amano.

3-Could you anticipate us some information about your future Italian pubblications?

I am excited to announce that Emma Books will be publishing my book ONE PERFECT NIGHT as an ebook in Italy. I hope to have more news for your readers soon about upcoming deals with Italian publishers for paperback and ebooks of my bestselling romances about the Sullivan family.
 

3-Puoi anticiparci qualcosa circa le prossime uscite in Italia dei tuoi romanzi?

Sono emozionata nell'annunciare che Emma Books - (nuova casa editrice digitale, ndr) -pubblicherà in formato digitale One perfect night. Spero di avere presto per voi maggiori notizia circa gli accordi per le pubblicazioni in cartaceo ed ebooks dei miei romance relativi alla famiglia Sullivan

4- You've written a "Hot Shots" trilogy, where the main characters are the firemen. How did you get this idea? What was your source of back-up information and from where did you get the inspiration for your protagonists?

My husband was a firefighter and I've always thought they were the perfect heroes. Strong. Brave. Fearless. And, of course, good looking and muscular! I read every book about the career and practice of firefighting before I began to write my books. I wanted them to be authentic and real. I really enjoyed writing my firefighter HOTSHOTS series. So much, in fact, that book #3 in my Sullivan series is about Gabe Sullivan, a firefighter in San Francisco.
 

4-Hai scritto la serie Hot Shots che consta di tre libri e che vede come protagonisti i pompieri. Come è nata questa idea?Qual è stata la tua fonte di documentazione e dove hai tratto spunto per i tuoi personaggi?

Mio marito era un pompiere e io ho sempre pensato che fossero gli eroi perfetti. Forti. Coraggiosi. Senza paura. E certamente muscolosi e di bell'aspetto! Ho letto tutti i libri che trattavano della professione e della pratica antincendio prima di cominciare a  scrivere i romanzi. Volevo che fossero realistici e attendibili. Mi sono divertita a scrivere la serie HOTSHOTS. Così tanto che di fatto il libro # 3 della mia serie Sullivan parla di Gabe Sulliavn, un pompiere di San Francisco.
  

5-You've decided recently to publish indipendently your books in E-format. Do you think that the future lays in electronic books?

Electronic books are amazing! I love reading them and I love that I can release my books directly to my readers via ebook. With that said, I also still appreciate printed books. I hope they both flourish!

5- Recentemente hai deciso di pubblicare da sola i tuoi romanzi in formato ebook. Pensi che il futuro sia ormai nei libri elettronici?

I libri elettronici sono eccezionali! Io amo leggere in questo formato e sono contenta di poter pubblicare i miei libri in formato digitale. Detto questo, apprezzo ancora i libri cartacei, sono entrambi fiorenti.

6- The E-books market has finally arrived in Italy too. What would be your message to the readers who are now having their first encounter with this kind of editorial reality? What is your personal experience?

I absolutely love ebooks. It is wonderful to be able to buy a book the very second you decide you want it, just from the press of a button. I have discovered many, many new writers this way....and I believe many readers have discovered me through my ebook releases!

6-Il mercato degli ebooks è approdato finalmente anche in Italia, cosa puoi dire alle lettrici che magari si avvicinano per la prima volta a questa nuova realtà? Vuoi raccontarci la tua personale esperienza?

Io assolutamente adoro gli ebooks. E' meraviglioso poter essere in grado di comprare un libro  premendo solamente un bottone, nel momento stesso in cui decidi che lo vuoi. In questo modo ho scoperto tanti, tanti autori e credo che molti lettori mi abbiano scoperto proprio grazie agli ebooks.

7- Are there any works -in -progress? Could you anticipate us something on your future projects?

I am just finishing up my 5th Sullivan book, IF YOU WERE MINE, about Zach Sullivan. I will then begin working on the 6th book about Ryan Sullivan.

7-A cosa stai lavorando adesso? Puoi anticiparci qualcosa circa i tuoi progetti futuri?

Sto finendo il mio quinto libro della serie Sullivan IF YOU WERE MINE che racconta di Zach Sullivan. Poi comincerò a lavorare sul sesto libro incentrato sul personaggio di Ryan Sullivam
