I am still writing a book about Ashdown House but I think it will take me a long time because I have to fit it in around my other writing. I have several different ideas for books involving Ashdown, though, and need to decide which one to write first! And also when I research the house I get so carried away that I never seem to finish!

It's very exciting being a British Regency author who is published in the US and around the world. There are quite a few British Regency authors writing series books for Harlequin but not single titles so I feel very privileged to be doing that. I think I am very lucky to live in a country that is so inspiring historically and to work in a historic house. That said I do love the writing of some US and Australian authors particularly as well as some of my fellow UK authors. I think any good author, wherever they are in the world, can create a fascinating historical world in their mind and translate it to the page.
