I'm the manager of the women literature's section in my town's library. Among books we are particularly interested in there are literary genres written by women (romances, thrillers, fantasy...) and we have a collection of books about etiquette and domestic economy, which let us have an idea about women and men's behavior through different historical periods. So, more than time-travel, I'm very interested in "gender-travel" which appears to be the Blackfell's series basic idea.

I'd like to see your books translated and include them in our collection, and my question is:

how did you happen to imagine and describe first a hypothetical patriarchy and the a matriarchy? where did you get the inspiration?

I'm talking about not only about external sources (such as history, ethnology and other writers' books...) but of inner ones too, and I'd like to know about both! Thank you,
