MarchRose, what I mean when I say "the intersection of the spiritual and sexual" is that, while we human beings are mammals. we are so much more than our biology. In the Biblical story of creation, God breathes into Adam to give him life. Growing up, I was told our breath, essential for our life, is the Holy Spirit, the physical touch of the divine. Our faiths are the filter through which we see the world. It touches every aspect of our lives, from the food we eat to the songs we sing to the ways we make love. When I write about love, I'm interested in writing about it through the filter of a religion or a set of spiritual beliefs. In BELTANE, that set of spiritual beliefs is modern Paganism.
