translation of comment # 15 ( Maristella )

First of all I'd like to tell Caroline that i was enthralled by this excerpt, and I'll try to get this book and read it.

I read What a woman needs in the original English version first, then I bought also its italian translation since I enjoyed it so much. The fact that the heroine is a mature and experienced woman ( for that era ) made the book more interesting and intriguing than other novels with the same historical setting. I am a bit fed up with shy debutantes...

I noticed that also in other Caroline's books heroines are widows: I'd like to know if this choice was made in order to be able to go on writing of less shy, more sexually "free" characters. I'd also like to know if to her knowledge more books of hers have been already bought to be translated in Italy.
