Hi Cris:
Visiting Isn't It Romantic is something I look forward to. Of all the interviews I've ever done, and all the blogs I've been part of, this is my favorite and the one I feel a connection to. Wouldn't it be nice if I could make this visit here a yearly thing?
I certainly can use help researching. In fact, I am trying to find information on Maristoca. Maria has been helping me, and I love her for that. I need to know about the town in 1454: layout of streets, businesses that were there, town politics. Information of that sort. If you can find any of this, please know that I will definitely appreciate your help. Thank you for your offer.

It's a fact that my diversity (mainly my love for medieval Italians) hinders my getting published by New York publishers. I did have one book published by Kensington. That was in 2000--The Lily and the Falcon--the first book of my four-book series. Several editors told me if I wanted to break in to the Medieval romance market, I'd have to set my story in Britain. I did write two set in England, but my heart wasn't in it. They were about to sell to Kensington's Precious Gem line, but it folded. Those stories are in hiding, and I'm not sure if I'll ever rewrite them.
