Thank YOU for such a warm welcome back. And thank you so very, very much for your wonderful review. I've had good reviews in the States, but I think you and Maet really captured the spirt of CRY FOR PASSION. Grazie!

I, too, find modern history fascinating. I particularly love the Victorian era, because I think it so closely matches our own. They were growing into their tecnological skin, so to speak, whereas we're strill trying to grow into our cyber skin. Until I wrote SCANDALOUS LOVERS, I had no idea women were not allowed to serve on a jury. I was even more suprised to learn that they were not granted that right until c1930. AFTER they got the vote (both in America and the UK)! Here in America, one state did not grant women the right to serve on a jury until c1970. Amazing. Yet so sad. We still today have people who insist that "men are from Mars" and "women are from Venus." Well, I say we all live on planet Earth, so it's about time we learn to get along!
