Translation commnet# 17 (Maristella)
I recently read the novel , and I greatly appreciated the reconstruction  of the era and of women condition at the end of '800. While reading "Black Lace" books too, I admit I've found sometimes the language a bit too much for my taste. More than anything I felt useless in the context, because it was a story with its own depth. My main problem is that, despite having perceived the love of Jack at the end of the novel, I did not feel that of Rose for him. Or rather, I do not understand how it is possible to say that she still loves her husband and that  her husband loves her in return ...This is something that surprised me and that I cannot really get.
Congratulations though,  I will definitely buy the next novel of yours that will be translated by Mondadori - if they will. Is there any news you can give to us about  it?
