Hi Maet, great interview!
Hello Robin, thank You for Your books. Reading this interview I felt going back to the past....
As I already wrote, commenting the previous review of the book “The Cry For Passion”, I liked this book because I could see not only sex, but also love, in its various forms and, finally the beginning of the independence for woman. While reading the passage in which Rose is kidnapped by two villains sent by her husband to bring her back,because she was not allowed to rebel against her condition, my feeling of physical suffocation was almost real!.......Brrrrrrr!
There are two things that I haven't understood well, though: Why such a hasty ending? And why Rose keeps saying until the end that she loves her husband?....I would understand if she was talking about affection, OK.......but love......fore somebody who showed her only sickly and egoistic kind of love?
Jack made her feel the real love, both physically and emotionally, exposing himself for her, and takeing more care of her than of himself!!! What a Man!!! Sure , he had to follow the fashion of the time even with his haircut, pictured well on the book cover....(for the first time, corresponding to the description of the protagonists given by the author).......but patience!
I hope I will see soon more of Your books and I also give my compliments to Mondadori !!!
