I confess I don't know your books, but this interview has intrigued me a lot.

I would want to make you two questions:

1) your books are historical, have never considered to write contemporary novels?

2) which of yours books it would advise to a person like me that it reads to you for the first time?

Grazie, Valentina! I’m so glad you enjoyed our interview. And grazie for your questions! In some ways, writing contemporary scares me more than writing historical. County police, city police, CIA, FBI, SEALs . . . everybody talks a different language in the 21st century! In comparison, researching historical is a walk in the park. Although I have written a contemporary romance, which my agent says is pretty good. No doubt some day I will write another. But at this time, my heart belongs in the past. So many people see history as being “dead,” but it’s not. A historical novel can be just as fast-paced and exciting as a contemporary novel. It is my hope to bring history to life for readers who would not normally be interested in historical fiction/romance.

I’m not certain what type of books you like. AWAKEN, MY LOVE is a time-travel, and has a bit of a paranormal feel to it. THE LADY’S TUTOR is a more traditional historical romance, albeit “erotic.” THE LOVER and GABRIEL’S WOMAN have often been described as erotic thrillers with a romance: They are very dark, and very fast-paced. SCANDALOUS LOVERS has been described as historical fiction with graphic sexuality. I would say the same for CRY FOR PASSION.
