My compliments to Maet1 and to the author for this interview, it gave me many different emotions...
A negative feeling vs. dr. Kellogs...grrrr I'll never eat corn flakes again! a positive one vs. Andersen's tale about the angel, curiosity when I tried to figure out what the "shower scene" was ( *lots* of curiosity! ) Or also when the author shared with us her emotions when she writes about the "first consummation” which is to her always the most difficult scene to write ... I can nearly feel the thrill of the first encounter!
I read Lady's tutor and I enjoyed it very much since it's not just an erotic novel. I'd really love to read Michael's story (THE LOVER) and Gabriel's story (GABRIEL’S WOMAN) - I hope they will be soon translated and published in Italy!
However the whole interview shows clearly this author has a wonderful mind, my compliments!
bye, Marianna

Good morning, Marianna! Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments. And yes, I too congratulate Maet: She did a wonderful job, not only in translating, but in giving me thought-provoking questions that really made me think.
To this day I shudder when I think of the hurt Dr. Kellogg almost did to American women, and the pain he continues to inflict upon our men, forced to undergo circumcision as a baby. “The Angel” by Hans Christian Andersen is so beautiful: My husband got tears in his eyes when he read that scene in GABRIEL’S WOMAN. He said I could never have redeemed Gabriel if I had not found that fairytale. As for my “Shower” chapter. . . . Gabriel, because of his rape, couldn’t stand being touched. But Victoria dares touch him, and challenges him to share the pain he had experienced at the hands of another man. It is when she finally breaks through the barriers he had erected to protect himself.
I’m glad you enjoyed THE LADY’S TUTOR. Japan just bought Japanese rights to it. Wouldn’t it be fun to see it published as a manga?
Thanks again for your kind comments. I have “The Angel” posted in its entirety on my website, if you’d like to read it: http://www.robinschone.com/page/gabwoman_angel.htm
