Thanks so much for a great question. I must be honest...that's one of the problems I have with writing and believing in vampire romances. And so I tried to handle it very carefully for each of my books. To tell you how it's resolves would be to give away the ending of the books, but I am confident that the reader will feel comfortable and pleased with the way the books end and how the love is resolved.
Each of my three vampire books (The Vampire Voss, The Vampire Dimitri and the forthcoming Vampire Narcise) resolve this issue in a slightly different way because all of the vampires are different. They've become these immortal creatures for different reasons; therefore, when they find a woman/man who loves them...a woman/man who understands them...they can see how to love that person forever, despite the difference in age and life experience.
I hope this helps to answer your question!
Thank you for visiting!

books that I've wondered how people who love the Gardellas will like them. And you've just answered my question. Thank you. :-)
To answer your question...yes, the Envy Chronicles will continue to be published in Italian. In fact, the second book in the series (with a model on the cover who looks just like Sarah Michelle Gellar!) was just released in Italy. It's called Il Bacio della Notte, and here is a link to the page: http://www.newtoncompton.com/libro/978-88-541-3138-5/
I'm not sure of the date for the third book in Italy, but I know it's coming soon. The fourth and fifth books haven't been arranged for publication yet with Newton Compton; whether they are is depending upon how well the first three books sell in Italy. :-)

Dear Lucrezia50:
Thank you very much for your kind words! I'm so happy that you've enjoyed the Gardella series, and that you like the Envy Chronicles even more. I loved writing those books and I think they are so different from a lot of books being published. One of the reasons I like them so much is that it's like mixing up a historical world with our pop culture and everything we know about science and technology. Very fun.
I haven't been notified when the third book is coming in Italy, but it's one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy that one as well.
The Vampire Voss is very very different from the Gardellas, but there is a character from the Gardellas who makes an appearance in EACH of the new vampire books! So you will have to watch and read very carefully to see who it is. :-)
Thank you for coming to say hi!
Colleen
