E' ovvio che Samson e Mariana appartengono l'uno all'altro a dispetto degli uomini che la vogliono indietro e dei suoi stessi dinieghi. E' anche ovvio che Samson progetta di vincere questa battaglia di volontà. Ed è proprio ovvio che per una volta, Mariana ha trovato uno scontro che non le importa di perdere.
