Hi Cris, Thank you so much!
Hi Cris,
Thank you so much! I agree, the life of mothers is very similar around the world. We should pass a handbook around and save each other a lot of time. We could discuss, how to talk your kids out a piercing, how to get your kids to stop climbing the walls, how to get them to go to sleep. LOL
I’m lucky that I’m not a big fan of television. If I was, I wouldn’t get too much done. I love music but when I listen to that I can still write so it works out nicely.
I hope the publishers decide to translate them to Italian as well. One of the publishers has already branched into Spanish and Japanese.
As far as how important it is for an author to share her passions with other authors… I think its very important. At least it is for me. A lot of my friends who aren’t big fans of reading books and who don’t write, never really get what’s going on in my life. They nod and smile but I know its doesn’t interest them so I avoid discussing it with them. Having others around who do understand and who love to read and/or write makes a world of difference. It gives you a great net to fall back on when you’re suffering from writer’s block, when you get a review that shreds your book, or when you get a rejection. It also provides people who want to know when you meet a deadline, when you get a good review and when you get a new contract.
Thanks,
Mandy M. Roth
