Comment #1: A writing style really interesting, immediate, clear. Sure this extract made me want to read more and…. I want to know what happens! When we will have this book in Italian? An author to follow with attention. Antotonon
Comment #2: It seems a veeeery interesting book, I like the style to me that I find flowing! mah!!!
we still hope in a translation.
I'd like to know what thinks the author of the Italian style in the romance. But what wonder!!!! she raises bees... my friend Cris will be delighted!!!! Andreina
Comment #3: I like the extract. But I have been hit for the uncountable time from this topos of “making feel” the erection. Personally I have always found it an unpleasant thing, half between the vain and preferred the quantity to the quality. What do you think? Alida Novels
Comment #4: Well Alida, when the author has sent to me the extract she has also asked if I thought that it too much strong… I think this is one of the more hot piece of the book! The other day I read a book, a surprise: I had bought it thinking to read a book on love between a handicap man and a jock. I did not know the age of the main characters, little more than teens, 18 and 19 years… Neither to say there was little sex, also a stolen kiss seemed the greatest transgression. Nevertheless I like very much the book and I have not felt the lack of the explicit sex, than sure sometimes it appeals to to me, sometimes I find it for free. In that book, it was not necessary and it was right. But if I had read a story between two thirties, well it would have seemed strange that they made problems for a stolen kiss… Elisa
Comment #5: It is not a problem of too much audacity, or a single extract too much “strong”, that I do not find this extract is. Rather my thought was turned to as it is thought/exhibited the maleness from the authors and as it is read by the readers and I invited all to think and to give opinions. Alisa
Comment #6: I do not know as they feel or as they think the authors about the “masculinity”. For me I think it is something tied to the characters wit. Some are so shattering that they seem… to come out… from the page of the book and here a description of “feeling the erection” is right. Other times it seem to me that it simply a question of indulge from the author. But probably who seems to me a very strong character, to an other can make a completely different effect. Antotonon
Comment #7: I'm totaly in agreement with Antotonon. I want to emphatize that the taste of a book, a character or determined situations described from the author are exclusively subjective! Everyone feels the emotions in different way, what it moves me, not neccessarily moves others! and what I think are as too strong scenes or viceversa, sure are not for others! I have to say that I have read some books where I have found some “strong " scenes out of place and useless, while in other books, they are the complement of the story! ^__* Andreina
Comment #8: As usual (I think I become boring ^__^) a beautiful extract of an interesting author. And, as usual, it makes me want to read more, unfortunately. Just a taste. Interesting how the male character in the beginnig has an aggressive attitude (and a little too much sure) but then he reveals himself more uncertain and finally comprehensive of the state of mind of her. I find also interesting what Alida writes abot the interpretation that several authors give of the “masculinity” and of the way of… evidencing it with the women. It depends, in effects, from the skill of the author (and much from the state of mind of the readers, at least in my case). Sometimes I have found similar scenes ridicules and free other times very sensual. Usually the only thing that I can't stand are those “heroes of the resistance”, those poor characters who are described more like an handbook of kamasutra under effect of viagra that men (some character of Susan Johnson or Jane Feather are indeed unbelievable). All right with the enthusiasm but from time to time if they rested it would not make bad neither to them or to the readers. It is romance, not science fiction. Ah, ah, ah. Will I be envious? Kisses to all. Cristina
